15 months and counting!

hey! this post title may be a bit misleading...i am not counting as of yet but am saying new words every day. my latest word is "flower" and my list of words so far is: dada, mama, ball, duck, that, this, bubble, dog, butterfly, water, down, up, hot, bye-bye, hi, nigh-nigh, wow, oooh (mama can't remember everything right now, but i know more, i am sure). in addition, i make lots of noises and gestures. my favorite noises to make are "cockadoodle-do" for rooster, "reawr" while moving my arm up for elephant; a growl for tigers, lions, bears and anything i am not sure of what sounds it makes; "woof" for dog, "moo" for cow, "neigh" for horse, i smack my lips for fish, and blow raspberries and move my hands around for insects that fly or crawl. i love dancing, snapping my fingers, twirling around, moving my head from side to side when i hear music and i love any kind of music. in addition, i currently love water especially running into the ocean waves. this past weekend my beloved gigi and papa came to visit me and we went to the ocean...it was a blast and i had sand encrusted in every crevice!

lately i've been climbing up on the couch and sitting there to read. i just love lounging and listening to music while i read my favorite literature such as "hop on pop" and "the nose book". i also like coloring with crayons and have already started a portfolio of abstract drawings. my most favorite part of coloring is taking the crayons out of the box and then proceeding to put them back in.

i love giving kisses and make a "mmm" sound while leaning over to kiss someone. i love playing with my friends in the playground, and especially tinkering with their toys. i love playing by myself, especially in the dirt with rocks, sticks and leaves...i poke and prod, experiment and discover. i can't get enough of walking...i love taking walks with mama and dada around e.v. and collecting objects as we go along.

and can you believe it, i am 15 months already! my, the time has flown by. as each day goes by, i grow more and more, so much mama and dada are running to catch up with me! and speaking of growing, i have about 9 teeth now and a few more are popping out as we speak!
