and some other things

so, yesterday, when mama was leaving for her class, she blew me a kiss and i blew her a big kiss back! that made her day. and then i started clapping! a bit of a mixed message she'd say, but i thought i was pretty dang cute!

today mama took me to the mitchell park library baby storytime. i entered the room, began making monkey noises and looked around to see who was looking at me! unfortunately, i didn't get the response i normally get from mama and dada! during the actual storytime, all i wanted to do was look through the basket of books and play with the animal puppets. i exclaimed "duck" when the duck puppet appeared. after that, we had lunch in the nearby park and i literally chased the squirrels across the grass and up the trees. i became upset when they didn't want to play with me...i just couldn't understand why they would run away!

later that afternoon, we went to visit my friend, sava, who's a couple weeks older than me. as soon as i entered the apartment, i exclaimed and b-lined for sava and his mama, ellie. then i proceeded to busy myself with playing with sava's cool toys and initiating peek-a-boo with him...he just kind of stared at me while i busted up laughing.

i'm attaching a painting that mama created from a photograph of me. she said it was one of the most enjoyable projects of this quarter because it was about her favorite subject: me!
